Welcome to Serendipity Designs (“we”, “us”, “our”)

We operate this store through Shopify, offering a Christian-themed brand of carefully designed Faith-based as well as Motivational / Affirmation-based Collections and other products (“Services”).

All designs are created by us, and production and delivery are handled by trusted third-party suppliers who print, pack, and ship your items directly to you.

By accessing or purchasing from our store, you agree to our Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, please do not use or access our Services.

1. Who We Are

We are Serendipity Designs, a Christian-themed brand.

Our mission is simple: To help you surround yourself  or others with words of Wisdom, Comfort, and Joy. Each design has been carefully created with love, so you can find a unique piece that resonates with you or makes the perfect gift for someone special.

At Serendipity Designs, we believe in celebrating the beauty of Faith and Individuality. 

2. Access & Account

  • By using our store, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your country or province.

  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete account, billing, and shipping information.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.

3. Our Products

We aim to display all products accurately, but please note:

  • Colours and Design Image size may vary slightly from what appears on your screen.

  • Each product is made to order, so small variations in print or placement may occur.

  • We may update or discontinue products at any time.

  • All items are for personal use only and may not be resold commercially.

4. Orders & Payments

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase a product.
Orders are accepted once payment is successfully processed and confirmed.

Our products are made to order for each customer, so we don’t store stock. As soon as your item is in production, we’re unable to make changes, cancel it, or offer an exchange.

By completing a purchase, you confirm that:

  • Your payment and shipping details are accurate.

  • You are authorized to use the selected payment method.

  • You will promptly update your details if they change.

5. How Orders Work (Print-on-Demand)

When you place an order, the details are sent to our third-party supplier for production and shipment.

We do not hold stock — each item is produced specifically for your order.
Once production begins, we cannot modify, exchange, or cancel your order.

6. Shipping & Delivery

Production time: Typically 3–5 business days.

Delivery time: (Estimated)

  • South Africa: 3 - 7 business days after production. 

  • INTERNATIONAL ORDERS / SHIPPING NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE!

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to order volume or unforeseen delays like customs, courier delays, or other factors beyond our control.

After your order is handed to our courier partners for delivery, responsibility for the parcel (including any risk of loss or damage) passes to you. If you experience an issue with delivery, we are happy to assist you in contacting the courier to resolve it.

We cannot provide a replacement or refund if delivery fails due to an incorrect address or no one being available to receive the parcel.

7. Intellectual Property

All designs, graphics, and content on our store are owned by Serendipity Designs or used under licence.
You may not reproduce, resell, or use any of our designs or content for commercial purposes without written permission.
Our store and its materials are protected by international copyright and design laws.

8. Prices, Taxes & Promotions

  • Prices are displayed in your selected currency and may exclude shipping, taxes, or import duties.

  • Prices and promotions may change at any time without notice.

  • If a pricing or product error occurs, we reserve the right to correct or cancel affected orders before shipment.

9. Third-Party Services & Links

We may offer access to third-party tools, apps, or websites as part of our Services.
These are provided “as is,” and we are not responsible for third-party content, tools, or websites linked from our store.

10. Relationship with Shopify

Our online store is powered by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform.
Shopify is not responsible for our fulfilment, refunds, or customer service.
All transactions and communications are strictly between you and Serendipity Designs.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of profits).

  • Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the product in question.

  • We are not responsible for delays, customs issues, or courier errors beyond our control.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our Services if you violate these Terms.
Sections on Intellectual Property, Refunds, and Liability will remain in effect after termination.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update or amend these Terms from time to time.
The version displayed on our website at the time of purchase applies to your order.
We will notify you of any major changes if required by law.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
Any disputes will be handled in the courts of South Africa.
